A day out

The Year 10s recently enjoyed a day out to remember in Fremantle riding "Okey Dokey" which is a jet boat speed machine powered by 2 x V8 engines that propel the boat up to 75kms per hour. Most impressive however is the ability of the skipper to "dunk" the nose of the boat under water which, unsurprisingly, causes the passengers to experience a rather unique saltwater bath. The expressions on the faces of the boys in the following photos sum up their enjoyment of the outing. The near perfect conditions on the day meant that the Boarders outing was fantastically complimented by glorious showcase of WA's best weather, minus the Freo doctor. Boys enjoyed ice cream and fish and chips while in Fremantle before catching the train home to the Boarding House and what remained of a casual Sunday.
